The Montessori Method is a unique educational approach with benefits that extend well beyond the years our students' early school years. Our students go on to have successful high school and college careers - scoring competitively with their peers on standardized tests. Perhaps more importantly though, they gain the skills they need to succeed outside the classroom: respect, grace, responsibility, resourcefulness, independence, and cooperation. Learning in these "soft skills" are woven throughout the Montessori curriculum and help them navigate the challenges of adult live and become engaged and conscientious citizens who contribute to their families, communities and the world around them. The Montessori method has been scientifically measured in multiple studies as well. Here are links to just a few:
"Among the 5-year-olds, Montessori students proved to be significantly better prepared for elementary school in reading and math skills than the non-Montessori children. They also tested better on “executive function,” the ability to adapt to changing and more complex problems, an indicator of future school and life success.”
- University of Virginia
“While the Montessori Method allows children to choose the activities they want to work on each day, and how long they will work at a specific task, there are specific “ground rules” for the class that are consistently enforced by the teacher and other students. This environment naturally teaches children self-discipline, and it refines important skills like concentration, self-control and motivation.”

“So shouldn’t we be paying a great deal of attention to the educational method that produced, among others, Larry Page, Sergei Brin, Jeff Bezos, Jimmy Wales, Peter Drucker, Julia Child, David Blaine, and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs? They were all students in Montessori schools.”
- Harvard Business Review
“If we want to become better creators and innovators, we would be wise to study the principles of the Montessori Method.”

An education capable of saving humanity is no small undertaking; it involves the spiritual development of man, the enhancement of his value as an individual, and the preparation of young people to understand the times in which they live.
