Board of Trustees
Board Member – Andrea Londergon
Andrea brings a vast amount of early childhood development experience to the board. With 13 years at Little Shepherd Day School in Naperville, she played a role both in Pre-K education and summer camp administration. Since then, she has gone on to develop her finance skills, initially in her own business, and later for DS Smith Plastics North America and Trimas Rapak Corporation, where she works today in the research and development department.
Andrea has been a JMS trustee since 2018. As an Advancement Committee member she contributed to the successful planning of the Legacy of Learning Community Fundraiser and was a big part of setting up the JMS donation program system. As the Advancement Committe Chair, she has plans to strengthen the JMS community and promote the importance of the Annual Fund for the benefit of JMS.
Andrea feels that the most rewarding role in her life is as a mother to a JMS student. She is a vocal advocate for Montessori’s focus on problem-solving in education and has seen her daughter’s love of learning blossom since starting at JMS in 2015.
