P.O.D. Dinner Huge Success

 

JMS Parent Orientation Dinner HUGE success


Thank you to the JMS community for their generous support of the 3rd Annual Parent Orientation Dinner (P.O.D.)!!  Although we do not have final numbers, we are estimating we brought in over $12,000 in revenue from the event.  This is a 20% increase from last year.  This is due to  the support recieved from parents that sold raffle tickets, solicited outside sponsorships and purchased items from silent auction, live auction and plates. 
 
The creation of the POD event was to establish a feeling of community between our faculty and our parents. We wanted to have an event that allowed parents to get to know other parents in their child's classroom, learn from parents that have been at JMS for years and get a better understanding of your child's director.  We also felt if we raised a few dollars for the school, as a community we would be better for it.
 
On behalf of the POD committee...
