The entire staff of JMS is committed to your child’s education for the complete academic term. As such, we expect full and timely payment of all amounts invoiced.
There will be no refunds for absences or early withdrawal. All deposits, tuition payments, and fees become non-refundable if the application is withdrawn by the family once placement has been granted. All payment due dates are indicated on issued invoices. There is no grace period provision. Late payments will incur a financing fee as described below.
Because it is in the best interests of each individual child and the class to stagger start dates, September start dates are not prorated. Tuition payments reserve each child’s place in class. All proration begins on October 1.
Appropriate actions, including suspending classroom, Extended Care, and/or extra-curricular privileges, placing accounts in collection, or revoking registration status, may be enacted for continued non-payment of outstanding balances.
All accounts, both tuition and Extended Care, must be paid in full prior to the release of any student records to parents or to other educational institutions.
2011-2012 Rates for Tuition
All deposits and tuition payments are non-refundable.
Half Day Tuition - $4,970.00*
Full Day Tuition - $6,663.00*
Adolescent Tuition - $7,770.00* includes all Nature’s Classroom costs
*prorated for start dates subsequent to October 1
A 10% sibling discount is available to families with at least one child enrolled in the elementary or adolescent program.
Late Payment Financing Fee - $50.00 per child, per occurrence
Annual Tuition (minus applicable tuition deposits) payment is due in full, by August invoice date. Annual tuition for students starting on/after October 1 is due on invoice date.
Semi-Annual Tuition (minus applicable tuition deposits) payments are due - half in August, half in January - by date invoiced. Initial installment of Semi-Annual tuition for students starting on/after October 1 is due on invoice date. This option is not available to students who start after December.
Monthly Tuitionis administered by the FACTS Tuition Management Service, is paid over 10 months (July – April) and will incur a 5% financing fee per family, applied only to the oldest child’s account, and a contract enrollment processing fee paid directly to FACTS. All accounts will be considered Semi-Annual until such time as agreement is submitted. All FACTS accounts conclude in April, regardless of start date or contract execution date.
Child Care Resource & Referral client co-pays are determined by the State of Illinois Department of Human Services. Families make monthly co-pay payments directly to JMS. Families are wholly responsible for any balances not paid by CCR&R.
2011-2012 Extended Care Services
Morning:
7:30-8:30 a.m. - flat rate of $5.75 per day. Monthly option is available.
Afternoon:
12:00-3:00 p.m. - per hour @ $5.75. Monthly option is available.
3:00-4:00 p.m. - flat rate of $5.75 per day
4:00-6:00 p.m. - 1/4 hour increments @ $5.75 per hour
Extended Care Late Pick Up Fee - flat rate $10.00, first 15 min; $1.00 per min, thereafter, until pick-up
Late Payment Financing Fee - per occurrence $20.00, if balance > $50.00 or $10.00 if balance < $50.00
Services are billed monthly and due no later than the invoice due date. The Extended Care deposit will be applied to the LAST invoice of the school term. Unused Extended Care deposit balances will be refunded.

NSF Check Fee, per occurrence - $25.00
FACTS Processing Fee, per contract - $41.00
JMS FACTS Service Fee, per contract - 5% of amount financed, applied to the oldest child's account.
