Jessica is a junior at Lincoln-Way Central High School. Her favorite academic classes are Latin 3 Honors and English 3 AP. Her favorite extra-curriculars are Marching Knights (marching band) and Junior Classical League (Latin club). Jessica's favorite JMS memory is going to Nature's Classroom.
We would like to thank three individuals who have contributed a great deal to Joliet Montessori School. These individuals are Dave Shea, David Spesia and Tracy Spesia; they just completed their terms on the JMS Board of Trustees.
Dave Shea served on the Board for seven years and was a driving force for our current Adolescent House project while also serving as Board President for 2 years. His expertise in the building industry as well as his dedication to the school are evident in the building next door.
Dave Spesia served on the Board for three years and worked on the Head Support and Evaluation Committee. His own experience as school principal helped him serve in an advice and counsel role.
Tracy Spesia served on the Board for seven years and worked on various committees including the position of Vice President, which she held for several years. She immersed herself in the ISM philosophy and has helped to pave the way for future JMS students through her dedication and hard work.
We are grateful to these three leaders for their time on the Board and hope to continue the good work they have begun on behalf of our children and our children's children.
